Bolton 2-0 Manchester City
A dull affair was won late with 2 goals in the last fifteen minutes. Ricardo Gardner hit the first for Bolton in the 76th minute, their first goal in almost six hours of open play, and a Richard Dunne own goal put the game beyond question. It has to be said though, that once the first goal went in, the match was as good as over, City offering very little in the way of a challenge. The only bright spot for the blues was Robinho who is continuing to look more and more comfortable in the British style of football.
The victory moves Bolton out of the bottom three, although still deep in relegation trouble, and the loss leaves City boss Mark Hughes scratching his head, wondering what he has to do to get his team to play with a little more consistency.
